Garden Produce During Drought

Thanks to this year's drought, we are harvesting some unique crops here at CrossRoads End Acres. Today I would like to share with you several of the more noteworthy items our garden has produced:

Baked Beans
Grilled Corn

Toasted Sunflower (Seeds)
Fried Green Tomato (Plants)

Really Hot Peppers
Broiled (Over-ripe) Squash
And, last but not least, my personal favorite:

Water (less) Melons
RandomGal says that she wishes we had thought to plant some Fried Cabbage as well.  Sigh.  Maybe next year.

Blessings,
The Tin Mom

We gave up on our garden..... Just couldn't beat the heat! :(

How do I become a follower on your blog? Most other blogger.com blogs have the "Follow" button & then their new post show up in my dashboard reading list..... Can't find your follow button...

    Best Wishes,
